Energy Bay Recognised in Stockland’s FY26 Integrated Annual Report for Enabling Scalable Renewable Energy and Net Zero Outcomes

August 26, 2026

Media Mention

Stockland’s FY26 Integrated Annual Report recognises the Energy Bay and Stockland partnership as a key enabler of the Group’s decarbonisation journey and its achievement of Net Zero Scope 2 emissions. Stockland notes that its progress “reflects nearly two decades of progressively scaling investment in decarbonisation,” including a major investment in rooftop solar and its “strategic renewable energy partnership with Energy Bay – reducing emissions, providing greater cost resilience and reinforcing our commitment to climate action.”

The report highlights the scalable renewable energy model delivered through the partnership, including large scale rooftop solar installations across retail town centres and logistics sites. This program is expected to deliver 45 MWp of rooftop solar capacity — approximately 75,000 solar panels across 190,000 square metres of roof space — transforming idle roof areas into productive energy hubs.

Stockland also outlines the next phase of the partnership: the deployment of up to 40 commercial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) units, providing up to 74 MWh of total storage capacity. This integrated system enables solar energy generated on Stockland rooftops to be stored and redistributed across the portfolio through an innovative inter asset energy trading scheme.
Stockland expects to continue implementing its climate strategy, including “Stockland’s renewable energy partnership with Energy Bay,” strengthened resilience measures and increased use of lower carbon materials.

This external recognition reflects the impact of Energy Bay’s integrated delivery model — combining engineering, development, infrastructure and asset management— in enabling measurable emissions reduction and long-term value creation across major Australian property portfolios.

A Shared Commitment to Long Term Impact

Energy Bay’s broader team has played a central role in delivering the infrastructure, operational expertise and market optimisation required to support Stockland’s FY26 emissions achievement. The recognition underscores the importance of collaborative partnerships in driving industry wide decarbonisation and demonstrates how integrated energy solutions can create both environmental and commercial value.

As Energy Bay continues to expand its renewable energy delivery across Australia’s commercial and industrial sectors, this milestone highlights the tangible impact of our work and the growing momentum behind sustainable transformation.
